چکیده

Probing Equation of State (EoS) of QCD matter in relativistic heavy-ion collisions is still a fascinating problem inspiring new experimental projects [1]. Hydrodynamic models have an advantage that they directly address EoS of hot and dense nuclear matter, which is of prime interest for this domain of physics. We have developed 3D 3fluid relativistic hydrodynamic model [2, 3] for simulating heavy-ion collisions at incident energies from few to about 200 A·GeV. The model involves possibility to use various EoS including those with deconfinement phase transition of different orders.

Heavy Quarkonium Dissociation Cross Sections in Relativistic Heavy-Ion Collisions

Many of the hadron-hadron cross sections required for the study of the dynamics of matter produced in relativistic heavy-ion collisions can be calculated using the quark-interchange model. Here we evaluate the low-energy dissociation cross sections of J/ψ, ψ′, χ, Υ, and Υ′ in collision with π, ρ, and K, which are important for the interpretation of heavy-quarkonium suppression as a signature fo...

Anisotropic fluid dynamics in the early stage of relativistic heavy - ion collisions ⋆

A formalism for anisotropic fluid dynamics is proposed. It is designed to describe boost-invariant systems with anisotropic pressure. Such systems are expected to be produced at the early stages of relativistic heavy-ion collisions, when the timescales are too short to achieve equal thermalization of transverse and longitudinal degrees of freedom. The approach is based on the energy-momentum an...

Heavy ion collisions and cosmology

There are interesting parallels between the physics of heavy ion collisions and cosmology. Both systems are out-ofequilibrium and relativistic fluid dynamics plays an important role for their theoretical description. From a comparison one can draw interesting conclusions for both sides. For heavy ion physics it could be rewarding to attempt a theoretical description of fluid perturbations simil...

Coherent photon-photon interactions in very peripheral relativistic heavy ion collisions

Heavy ions at high velocities provide very strong electromagnetic fields for a very short time. The main characteristics of ultraperipheral relativistic heavy ion collisions are reviewed, characteristic parameters are identified. The main interest in ultraperipheral heavy ion collisions at relativistic ion colliders like the LHC is the interactions of very high energy (equivalent) photons with ...
